Transfer of Ownership
to Surviving Spouse |
|

|
|
A surviving
spouse must bring a Court Order, vehicle
title and odometer reading to transfer
ownership. If a will was not probated a
Court Order will not exist. In this case
bring title, odometer reading, and a
certified copy of the
death certificate. When not probating, the
surviving spouse will be required to sign
a simple
Affidavit
of Inheritance Form when
applying to the Clerk's Office.
Need
Photo Driver License or other acceptable
photo I.D. Go
